RV Packing Tips

Before you head out on an RV vacation, it’s important to pack all of the essentials. We recommend ensuring the following items are on your packing list!

Pack Healthy Snacks

Bring along healthy bite-sized meals to avoid buying too many processed foods at rest stops along the way. Apples and peanut butter, granola bars with milk, cheese, and crackers, yogurt-coated raisins, gummy fruit snacks, mixed nuts, and more can all be healthy, nutritious snacks on short notice.

Outdoor Gear

RV camping is all about being in the great outdoors, so there are some supplies you’ll want to have to make sitting outside your RV more comfortable. Folding chairs, a fold-out card table, a ground covering to place under your awning, LED lights, citronella candles and some outdoor games are all good options, along with campfire supplies and maybe even a grill so you can cook outside!

First Aid Kit

No RV trip would be complete without a first aid kit. You’ll likely never need to use it, but it’s wise to have one on hand just in case. Be sure to check the expiration dates on any medicines and replace anything that has expired.

RV Accessories

There are certain RV accessories that can make your trip even better, including:
A surge protector to protect your RV electrical system
Wheel chocks to keep your camper in place while it’s parked
A water pressure regulator to protect your RV plumbing system
